Raphael and Marguerite
Raphael was a young boy who lived in the hills of Urbino, cultivating his artistic soul in his father's workshop. He was called to Rome by the Pope to paint his apartments, thus finding himself frequenting the highest aristocracy of the time.
Promised to the niece of Cardinal Medici, Raphael instead fell madly in love with Margherita, daughter of the baker of Trastevere. A forbidden love, given the difference in wealth between the two, consummated secretly in the garden behind her father's bakery.
Theirs was a love of great passion so much so that, after a night with Margherita, Raphael began to feel the malaise that soon after led to his death.
Alone among all artists, Raphael was buried in the Pantheon temple. He seems to have asked so, chatting with his artist friends in the square in front of the Roman temple on a summer evening.
Margherita, young and very much in love, decided to declare eternal love to the artist and to live her life in an infinite memory of him.
Only perfumes, better than words, will be able to tell this story of eternal love, evoking memories and strong emotions. And, in describing the characters, they will tell us something about ourselves.
